Tim Obrist


Tim Obrist brings over 18 years of experience in ground up construction and development, tenant improvements, retail and medical construction. Prior to co-founding Next Level Project Management, Tim worked for Cushman & Wakefield of San Diego starting as a Senior Project Manager and finishing as Project Director of San Diego. He was responsible for all of Project Management in the San Diego office. In addition to the internal management duties required, Tim’s involvement on projects started with early & strategic client engagement and progressed through to planning, budgeting and contract negotiations, construction management oversight, and led successfully towards occupancy management and project closeout.

Prior to joining C&W in 2013, Tim worked for Lusardi Construction Co., located in San Marcos, CA. During his 13 years at Lusardi, he managed 30+ projects totaling over $200M worth of commercial construction including medical and office buildings, flex condominiums, industrial warehouse/distribution facilities and site development projects. The important skill sets that Tim developed and refined at Lusardi include design management, value engineering and understanding and building to a client’s budget; 80% or more of this work was done under the design-build or design-assist approach.
